A not-for-profit organisation that enables members to trade goods and services using LETS units or a percentage of cash and LETS local currency. LETS members buy and sell within their groups in return for local currency. When a transaction takes place, the people involved negotiate the value of the deal and the members process the trade via the web.
Inter-LETS trading possible with other LETS groups interstate and overseas. Any local or special interest group may establish a LETS group. There are LETS groups in metropolitan and rural areas of South Australia
