Meetings:

Balaklava Art Group meets at the Gallery on1st Mon of each month from 10am. New members always welcome!


Annual General Meeting held at the Gallery on 2nd Tues of October at 7.30pm. New members welcome. 


Management Committee meets at the Gallery bi-monthly from February on 2nd Tues of  the month at 7.30pm.

Fees:
Free admission to exhibitions. A separate charge may apply for special functions and events.
Access:
Access for wheelchairs via ramp and side door. Wheelchair accessible toilets available 150 metres away, Wheelchair access, Accessible parking
Venue hire

Availability: Exhibition space available for hire to community groups
(depending on the gallery's exhibition programme). 
Capacity / Seating: 40 max
Facilities: Small adjacent kitchen space.
Previous functions: include intimate music concerts, author talks, book launches, community group meetings and small social functions.
Fees: A small payment for the use of the facility will be negotiated.  

A beautifully intimate art gallery in the historic former courthouse. Changing exhibitions in the main space, a gallery gift shop in the former Magistrate's Room, and in the old Witness Room, the gallery's small permanent art collection and display of historical police items.

  • Annual Balco Balaklava Art Prize Exhibition, with prize monies totalling $3000, held each July to August, and part of South Australia's SALA Festival
