The Museum is open 7 days a week, Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm, Weekends and Public Holidays 10am to 4pm. Located on site with the Yankalilla Bay Visitor Information Centre.

The Museum has an extensive collection reflecting rural and social life of the district. Themes include agriculture, mining, maritime, domestic life and trades. There is also an extensive photographic collection.
