- The ANZAC Eve Vigil is an opportunity for the youth of Whyalla and its surrounding districts to come together and pay their respects to our Defence Force personnel, past and present, by conducting a formal 'Holding Ground' Ceremony around the Whyalla Cenotaph
- Youth take turns in small groups providing a guard of honour for the 12-hours preceding the ANZAC Day Dawn Service
