- Services provided across metropolitan and regional South Australia
The Respite Care Program (RCP) is operated by the Department for Education and Child Development providing a range of home based and community based care services to children and young people across metropolitan and regional South Australia. The RCP aims to support the family unit based on the family’s values, goals and aspirations. The program offers the opportunity for parents and caregivers to expand their child’s growth and development to enable them to participate in their community. Our network of approved RCP careproviders bring their qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience to each of the families they support. Careproviders are supported and monitored by a specialist RCP coordinator team. Each family within our program has a coordinator who will work together with families and careproviders to support children to achieve their goals.
