National Autism Awareness Month in Australia. Visit Autism SA to find more about their organisation and the support they provide to people with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome and their families.
 
2-8 April
Public Health Week in South Australia. In SA, visit SA Health to find authoritative information about tips for healthy living, on heath conditions and health-related subjects and on assistive services.

4 April
World Stray Animals Day. Visit the Animal Welfare League of SA Inc. or RSPCA to discover what you can do if you lose or find a pet or if you are looking for a pet to re-home.
 
11 April
World Parkinson's Day. In SA visit Parkinson's SA for information and support and take part in Parkinson’s in the Park Family Fun Day on Sunday the 8th April 2018.

13 - 22 April
SA Youth Week (SAYW)
 from the Office for Youth, highlights young people in a positive way, promoting their achievements, talents and contributions. The 2018 theme is ‘Your Future – Your Way’ with events held throughout the week. 
 
21-22 April
Festival of Flowers 2018
10am-4pm at St Pauls College, Gilles Plains $3 entry fee. Hosted by The Orchid Club of South Australia in conjunction with horticultural clubs across South Australia. 

21 - 28 April
Flagstaff Hill Art Show 2018
10-4 daily. (ANZAC Day 12-4) at Flagstaff hill Primary School, 145 Black Road Flagstaff Hill. Hosted by The Rotary Club of Flagstaff Hill. Visit http://flagstaffhillartshow.com.au/ for more information.
 
25 April 
International Guide Dog Day, In SA, support organisations such as Guide Dogs SA/NT and Royal Society for the Blind who provide assistance dogs for people with vision or hearing impaired. 
 

28 April
International Workers’ Memorial Day, this service is hosted by not-for-profit group VOID (Voice of Industrial Death). In SA visit SafeWork SA for information on work, health and safety across SA.
