GovHack SA 2018: Connections Event 2018

GovHack is back and Connecting Up Staff and Volunteers were there to introduce the SAcommunity directory dataset at the Adelaide Connections Event.

It was wonderful to catch up with 2018 State Director, Rob England, former 2017 State Director, Hasan Anjum, Data Mentors Lilli and Michelle (ICT and Digital Government), Rebecca (ATO) and our former volunteer Alison Do in her second year of competition.
 
The SAcommunity Dataset
 
Description: Directory listing over 14,000 South Australian Community Services in the areas of health, welfare, housing, education, community participation, information, legal services, arts and recreation.
 
Data Available: Data.SA South Australian Government Data Directory https://data.sa.gov.au

In addition, for the event we have compiled datasets of community services for GovHack hosts in Campbelltown and Mount Gambier to investigate data use in their local areas. Thank you to Data Mentors and Hosts Nathan and Jasmin from the City of Campbelltown  for their suggestion.
