- Philanthropy Australia - Charitable Trusts and Foundation Funding, 1pm-5pm Tuesday 3 April 2012
Grantseeker Workshops provide an introduction on how to look for funding from philanthropic sources. The half-day workshops provide an overview of Australian trusts and foundations and the environment in which they operate. Learn how to research potential funding sources, what to include in a submission, what to leave out, how to make your application easy to understand, and what makes foundations different to other funders! - Community meeting for the Murray, 5.30pm Tuesday 10 April 2012, Adelaide Town Hall - have your say in the national plan for the Murray-Darling

- Sustainable Communities SA presents Sustainability: what it can mean for people in communities, 7.30pm Wednesday 18 April 2012. Guest speaker Professor Peter Newman, internationally recognised leader in sustainability
- The Rose Society of South Australia Autumn Show, 21 and 22 April. 12 noon - 5pm on Saturday, 11am - 4.30pm on Sunday. $3 entry fee. Held at Burnside Community Centre, corner of Greenhill Road, and Portrush Road, Tusmore
- Global Road Safety Week 23-29 April 2012, dedicated to young road users who travel the world's roads every day
