- Free Volunteer Training Grants 2012 are now open for applications. The purpose of the grants from the Office for Volunteers is to assist eligible organisations to build the skills and experience of their volunteers and therefore help to meet the needs of local communities and services. Applications close Friday 23 March 2012.
- Not-for profit, incorporated organisations in small communities can apply for the latest round of Department of Regional Australia, Local Government, Arts and Sport Small Grants for Small Rural Communities Program. Grants of up to $5000 can be for projects and activities that benefit rural and remote communities with populations of 10,000 or less. Applications close on 30 March 2012.
