Climate Ready Champions Training
If you think we need to get ready as a community for changes in our climate, you can join our group of Climate Ready Champions. Climate Ready Champions are trained by Red Cross to help people understand how the things we value may be affected by our changing climate, and explore what we can do to take action. This is more relevant than ever given the national emergencies we are currently experiencing.
These upcoming one-day training sessions are currently open:
- Friday 7th February, Mt Barker, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Environmental Services Centre (Pavilion), 100 Springs Rd, Mount Barker, SA 5251 - Saturday 15th Feb, Glenunga Hub, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Glenunga Hub, 70 Conyngham St, Glenunga, SA 5064
- Friday 21st February, Tea Tree Gully Library, 9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Tea Tree Gully Library, 571 Montague Rd, Modbury, SA 5092
You will be supported by Red Cross through:
- Free training about how you can support others to become ‘climate ready’
- Practical guidance to deliver activities and events in Adelaide’s east
- Opportunity to get involved in Red Cross’ emergency response and preparedness activities
