Adelaide food lovers will be spoilt for choice this Saturday, November 5, when Fork on the Road Summer Nights returns to Seacliff. This much awaited street food event has something for everyone, with cuisine from more than a dozen countries on offer.
Fork on the Road is South Australia’s premier food truck series, bringing together an eclectic mix of Adelaide’s top food vendors all at one venue.Now in their 10th year, the Fork on the Road event celebrates the city’s burgeoning street food culture, and showcases the region's best and most loved food trucks.
The latest summer Nights instalment will be held at Angus Neill Reserve, Seacliff Saturday November 5 from 12 to 8pm and features a mouthwatering lineup of food trucks, serving up delicious meals, drinks, desserts and snacks. Held in partnership with the City of Holdfast Bay, this free community event features fare from fan favourites including Staazi & Co, Wafflestix, Paella Bar, Enfes Gozleme, Crepe Bar and Simply Flammekueche, plus many more. The fully licensed event also features drinks by VW Bars, Espresso Martini Van and Combi Coffee, plus a range of live music, performers and kids activities, ensuring a fun, family friendly event for all ages.
“Fork on the Road is now in its tenth year, and it is great to be able to work with the various councils around Adelaide to put on these community events” said Fork on the Road organizer Greg Tillman. “Adelaide has some of the most amazing street food vendors in the country, so it’s fantastic to bring them together and show just how good their food is," Mr. Tillman said.
Mr. Tillman believes the Fork on the Road events are a great way to bring both community activity and economic benefit to the region. “Each Fork on the Road event is designed to not just showcase Adelaide’s food vendors, but also support local business.” “From the hire companies, to the local breweries and wineries, the performers, musicians and children's entertainment we hope our events are positive for as many businesses as possible” Mr. Tillman said.
So, grab your picnic rug and get ready to enjoy an afternoon of fabulous food and drinks, seaside at Seacliff’s Angus Neill Reserve, Saturday November 5.
