Eligibility:
To be eligible for VAD a person has to be diagnosed by 2 doctors to have a terminal disease with 6 months to live or 9 months for a neurological disease.

ABN:
Voluntary assisted dying is a legal end of life choice for a person who meets the eligibility criteria for voluntary assisted dying and includes both self administration of medication which will cause death, as well as administration by an assisted dying trained doctor if the person is unable to self administer.
