The division is responsible for the management of adult offenders who, following imprisonment, are released conditionally on probation, parole or home detention or ordered to undertake a Community Service Order. The latter scheme enables selected adult offenders to perform community service work for voluntary organisations and statutory bodies as part of their obligation to the courts.
