Founded in 1950, scosa provides a wide range of support programs to people living with physical and intellectual disabilities. Our operating Hubs are spread across Adelaide and selected regional areas of South Australia and they act as the base from which our services are provided. In addition to providing services within our Hubs, many activities are also undertaken in a variety of community venues including sport and recreation facilities, learning centres and local shopping precincts.  The focus of our tailored programs is to promote confidence and self-esteem, impart life skills, encourage independence and maximise individual potential.

  • Extensive range of Day Options programs with a focus on enjoyment, developing life skills and building confidence e.g. computer skills, shopping, taking public transport.
  • Art Therapy programs incorporating music, dance, painting, mosaics and photography.
  • A wide variety of sport and leisure activities including boccia, soccer, sailing and bowling.
  • Activities to promote socialisation and the formation of meaningful freindships.
  • Leadership initiative focused on developing life goals and providing individual challenges e.g. public speaking.
