Caring Canine Companions provides free volunteer visits with a friendly canine to referred residents of Residential Aged Care Homes.
The program is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing under the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme, a Federal Government initiative to provide companionship, social support or friendship to those individuals who are socially isolated or are at risk of social isolation.

- Residential Aged Care Visiting - volunteers who are dog owners visit residential aged care facilities with their dogs (all breeds) to provide social contact and companionship for residents on a "One on One" basis
