Inpatient services 24 hours, 7 days per week
Eligibility:
For women experiencing moderate to severe mental illness following the birth of a baby. Women need to be referred by either a GP, private psychiatrist, Community Mental Health Worker or Acute Crisis Intervention Service Team (ACIS) tel. 13 1465 for assessment/referral

An inpatient unit of Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Services of Women's & Children's Health Network.
Information
Services
- Inpatient services for women who are unable to care for themselves and their baby or child up to 3 years at home
- Limited community support services for women with mental health problems and compromised infant attachments, including advice regarding services
- Telephone counselling (24 hours) for women in distress after the birth of their baby if national perinatal depression helpline (1300 726 306) unavailable out of hours
- Educational services for community groups and health organisations
