Eligibility:
Infants, children, young people and families up to the age of 16 who require specialised mental health care for serious and complex issues.
16 & 17 year olds will be considered for services provided by the Emergency Mental Health Service at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital, consultation and Liaison services, APY lands and Forensic Services and in the Northern metropolitan area.
The presenting problem addressed by CAMHS will be primarily mental health in nature and relate to the identified child or young person being referred.

CAMHS deals with a wide range of emotional and behavioural problems, social issues and mental illness, using a multidisciplinary approach. Outreach services are available in Balaklava, Ceduna, Coober Pedy, Cummins, Leigh Creek, Maitland, Port Wakefield, Quorn, Roxby Downs, Snowtown, Streaky Bay, Wudinna.
