ABC Friends are reaching out to find and recruit a new volunteer secretary for their South Australian/Northern Territory branch!

The SAcommunity Team met with ABC Friends just the other day, and learnt that the group exists to provide support to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). This is done in ways that allow the ABC to fulfil its charter and necessary role in providing trusted information to the Australian public. This is accomplished through means of emergency warnings, news, opinions, investigations, education, entertainment, and more.

After a lengthy period of loyally volunteering and contributing to ABC Friends, the current Secretary is soon retiring. ABC Friends SA/NT is looking for someone to take over the role, which would involve participating in monthly executive committee meetings and in assisting the group to continue their vital support role.
