To continue the International Volunteer Day blogs, Connecting Up Inc. felt we should introduce you to some more of our wonderful volunteers, many who have been with us for a year or more and a couple for only a month or two. Welcome to our Friday group.

Sophie Hood
Sophie has volunteered with Connecting Up for 3 years now, starting with us in January 2017 whilst studying Mechatronic Engineering at Adelaide University. Sophie initially started with the SAcommunity team in research and customer service, then assisting with training volunteers in-person before creating process flowcharts in Visio and elearning modules in Camtasia (including a starring role in telephone techniques) to assist the newcomers. Blake Kennison

Edward Windsor
Edward has interests in IT and related technologies having worked extensively in IT retail and customer service roles throughout his career, gaining a certificate in Information Technology and Media from TAFE SA.
Since he began volunteering in September this year, Edward's aim is to develop his skills and work towards transitioning into IT or related fields including computer assembly and repair.
Edward has been at Connecting Up for four months now, working on the SAcommunity program and customer service and meeting with his staff mentor to discuss his interests in IT and is investigating how that could translate into further employment either with further study or experience.
