Service to children is the primary focus of Kiwanians everywhere.  The Kiwanis Club of Prospect was founded in 2003 as a not for profit community service organization.
 

Techspace Learning - yes we have robots!

Understanding robots and robotics is becoming a critical skills for the future and SAcommunity has noticed a few new groups on it's listing looking at robots in STEM such as Adelaide Robot Combat group and SciWorld and more recently had the chance to talk to Techspace Learning - find out more about this not-for-profit below:

Kindergym takes home three state awards!

Kindergym is a movement based program designed specifically for babies and children up to 5 years old participating with a caregiver. Each session includes group time with music and movement and play activities that focus on building strength, coordination and confidence. SAcommunity lists 41 Kindergyms across the state, check your kindergym is affiliated with Gymnastics South Australia.

The Onkaparinga City Concert Band was formed in 1976 and has been proudly serving the southern suburbs of Adelaide ever since. The ‘Night at the Movies’ Cabaret is our Final major concert for the year and your last chance to see the band play before we enter the holiday season.

Knimble Fingers Craft Group says farewell

After 36 years the Knimble Fingers Craft Group closed in July 2019 and SAcommunity would like to acknowledge and appreciate their service to the community.
 

SAcommunity spoke to Heather Randall who has retired at 84 years old, had coordinated the group for 36 years, in conjunction with friends assisting for 25 and 26 years consecutively.
