My Volunteer Experience - Jason Chun Kwan Lam

Welcome Jason!

Jason Chun Kwan Lam joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as a volunteer on 14th August 2024 after completing his Information Technology Degree and while seeking work in the field.

Jason has recently been successful in a contract role to assist a government department for the next month and following a brief return to volunteering is now working full-time at DXC Technology as a Service Desk Analyst from June 2025. Congratulations Jason!

My Volunteer Experience - Kay Witney

Kay Witney joined the SAcommunity Customer Service Team on 14 August 2024, assisted into the role by Volunteer David Webb.

Kay quickly transitioned from volunteer to staff member, joining the Connecting Up Customer Experience Team to fill a casual position from the 23 September 2024 - 30 July 2025 and is now looking for her next exciting role!

Adelaide University Internship Experience - Kurinji Arivazhagan

Welcome Kurinji!

Kurinji Arivazhagan has joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as part of her University of Adelaide SET (Sciences, Engineering, and Technology) Internship for her Master of Data Science. Her internship spaned 140 hours, from September 3, 2024, to November 8, 2024. 

Kurinji returned to volunteer onsite with SAcommunity at the Connecting Up Office, Infoxchange, on 18 March 2025 for ~4 hours a week in the Data Analytics Team continuing to support the organization and assist with council community information reports.

Shoaib Khalid joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team and SAcommunity Website Rebuild Team for his Bachelor of Computer Science Semester 2, 2024: 13 August 2024 - 2024.

He is completing a 140-hour internship onsite with SAcommunity at the Connecting Up Office, Infoxchange for 2 days (14 hours) a week for approximately 13 weeks around his classes.
