Welcome Vy! Ho Khanh Vy Vo joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as a volunteer while she completed her Master of Business Information Systems at Torrens University, beginning with the team on the 14 August 2024.
She attends for 4 hours a week onsite at the Connecting Up office, Infoxchange around her classes and part-time work. We are pleased to hear that Vy has graduated and from 23 August 2025 is in a full-time position within a specialty retail company. Congratulations Vy!
Welcome Mihir! Mihir Desai joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team for his University of Adelaide SET (Sciences, Engineering and Technology) Internship for his Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Science Semester 2, 2024: 13 August 2024 - 8 November 2024.
Kay quickly transitioned from volunteer to staff member, joining the Connecting Up Customer Experience Team to fill a casual position from the 23 September 2024 - 30 July 2025. She is now looking for her next exciting role!

Joe Xuanqiao Zhang joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team for his University of Adelaide SET (Sciences, Engineering and Technology) Internship for his Masters of Computer Science 2024 Semester 1: 22 March 2024 - 21 June 2024.
He completed a 140 hour internship onsite with SAcommunity at the Connecting Up Office, Infoxchange for 2 days (15 hours) a week for ~10 weeks around his classes.
Welcome Anubhav! Anubhav Dattagupta joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as a volunteer, whilst he undertakes his Masters of Data Science at Adelaide University, starting with the team on the 2 August 2023.
Our Volunteer Waleed - Personal Biography Waleed is a former student at the University of Adelaide, who had commenced study in the Bachelor of Civil Engineering. He has also worked as a volunteer with Leep, now known as Digital Literacy Foundation, where he helped clients learn to use their technological devices.

SAcommunity wanted to highlight our affection for 'the old guard' our experienced and established SAcommunity veterans. People who make up our core team, return regularly each week to volunteer and keep the service running. They assist in decision-making, idea development and implementation, check and create processes, and critically, help our new volunteers and interns find their feet. We felt we were more than overdue to introduce, acknowledge and thank some of our team members.
Welcome Brenda! Brenda Pullen joined the SAcommunity Customer Service Team as a volunteer on 10 March 2021 to create an opportunity to practice her TAFE administrative skills. Retiring in 21 July 2021 we were pleased to announce that she gained employment as a Customer Service Representative at an information technology company starting in August 2021, where she worked on government contracts for the next 16 months before leaving the role.
