Yi Han joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team for his University of Adelaide SET (Sciences, Engineering and Technology) Internship for his Masters of Data Science Trimester 1, 2024: 23 January 2024 - 22 May 2024.

He completed a 280 hour internship onsite with SAcommunity at the Connecting Up Office, Infoxchange on 22 May 2024, and returned to volunteer from 17 September 2024. Welcome back Yi!

Mostafa Didar Mahdi joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team for his University of Adelaide SET (Sciences, Engineering and Technology) Internship for his Master of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Trimester 1 & 2, 2024: 23 January 2024 - 22 July 2024. He is completing a 280 hour internship onsite with SAcommunity at the Connecting Up Office, Infoxchange for 3 days (22.5 hours) a week for ~14 weeks around his classes and remotely offsite for the second half of his internship.

Violet Zewei You joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team for her University of Adelaide SET (Sciences, Engineering and Technology) Internship for her Masters of Computing and Innovation Science Trimester 1, 2024: 23 January 2024 - 27 March 2024.

She is completing a 140 hour internship onsite with SAcommunity at the Connecting Up Office, Infoxchange for 2 days (15 hours) a week for ~10 weeks around her classes.

Chris Baldwin joined our SAcommunity Information Team as a volunteer, beginning with the team this year on the 13 September 2023. He is a recently retired senior Naval Officer who has served in the Royal Australian Navy for 45 years.

He attends for ~4 hours a week onsite at the Connecting Up Office, joining several of our team members in the SAcommunity program with extensive work/life experience: Rex Porter, Flavia, David Webb, Malcolm and Stathis Avramis.

My Volunteer Experience - Thea Shiye Jin

Thea Shiye Jin joined our Data Analytics Team as a volunteer, whilst she studies her Masters at University beginning with the team this year on the 26 July 2023.

She has attended for ~4 hours a week onsite at the Connecting Up Office joining several other students from the course and from related university subjects in the SAcommunity program, and has now retired from the program as she focusses on her career.

My Volunteer Experience - Alice Jingyi Zeng

Jingyi Zeng joined our Data Analytics Team as a volunteer, whilst she studies her Masters at Adelaide University, beginning with the team this year on the 26 July 2023.

She attends for ~4 hours a week onsite at the Connecting Up Office joining several of her other classmates from similar disciplines who are also volunteering in the SAcommunity program.

Jingyi was recently accepted into a government role in the DHS and returned to let us know of her success on 6 September 2024, she is continuing to volunteer with us until she starts in her new position later this year.

My Volunteer Experience - Frank Xiufeng Shi

Frank Xiufeng Shi joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as a volunteer, whilst he undertakes his Masters in Data Science at Adelaide University, starting with the team on the 1 August 2023.

He attends for ~4 hours a week onsite at the Connecting Up Office around his classes and his current remote work as an AI analyst.
