April Virtual Community Events 2020

Many Community Events in April as in March 2020 have been cancelled as a consequence of COVID-19, however many organisations have moved their events into the online space.

Community Services Online - True Heights Dance Company

Covid-19 has meant that many community groups have had to move online. Many of these organisations have been busily upgrading behind the scenes using a variety of IT tools to continue to provide support services whilst working from home. The SAcommunity team have discovered that there are many ways to provide South Australians with opportunities to access the services they need and to participate in society, albeit remotely.

In support of LGBTIQ inclusion, the Government of South Australia, Department of Human Services has established:

CANCELLED: Nature Day with the Persian Cultural Association of SA - 5 April 2020

Please note that Nature Day is cancelled in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19, as the Australian Health Protection Principal Committee is placing limits on organised gatherings and visits to vulnerable groups.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and transitioning to remote working
To comply with social distancing, many companies and organisations are transitioning to a remote workforce. This can be a challenge for those who have not managed a distributed workforce before.
