August is a great month to connect with Prospect Local History Group (PLHG) as it is Family History Month.

Volleyball SA Charity Round

Volleyball SA
Volleyball South Australia (VSA) has been organising and running the South Australian Volleyball League since 1955, when the first premiership final was held. There are currently 11 different clubs that are operating at a competitive state league level, with 42 men's teams competing across 5 different divisions and 27 women's teams between 4 divisions.

Prospect Community Garden - Looking forward to Spring

How: Visitors welcome during opening times
Prospect residents and friends welcome to become involved as volunteers. 

Covid shutdowns and the fruit fly outbreak meant the cancellation of Prospect Community Food Swap Meets and their excellent Talks events, but there's good news .....
 

Prospect Community Garden itself is open again on Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm and all are welcome to become involved.
 

My Volunteer Experience - Ziqi Xu

Ziqi Xu joined our Data Analytics Team on the 25 July 2022, a PhD candidate at the University of South Australia (UniSA) majoring in Computer Science, he volunteered alongside our interns to gain more real-world experience, and hands-on practice with Power BI and Canva.

Adelaide University Internships - Cecilia Mao

Welcome Cecilia!
Cecilia Mao joined our Media and Communications Team for her Adelaide University Undergraduate Professions Internship on July 25 for Semester 2, 2022 - 28 September 2022. 

Cecilia completed a 150 hour internship remotely and onsite at the Connecting Up office, initially 15 hours a week over 3 days with (5 hours remotely on Tuesdays), two days onsite and/or remote at 6.5 hours and 3.5 hours around classes (flexible).
