South Australians are encouraged to get excited and get curious about their history with the 15th annual History Festival running from 28 April to 31 May 2018. There’s everything you’d expect, and a whole lot more!

 

Festival of Flowers

Festival of Flowers

$3 Entry Fee

 

The Festival of Flowers is a two-day event providing plant displays and demonstrations, sales and supplies, the major show is run by the Festival of Flowers organising committee in conjunction with horticultural clubs across South Australia.

 

Humanist Society of SA Convention

Equality is for Everyone!
Join SA Humanists together with LGBTI+ advocate Rodney Croome for a half day convention on Saturday 14th April from 1pm-5pm at Flinders University, 182 Victoria Square, Adelaide.

 

The Humanist Society of South Australia is co-hosting the Australian Humanist Convention in Adelaide on the 14th April. The event has been so popular that dinner is sold out but there are still tickets available for the afternoon session.

 

Photographic Competition 2018

Attention budding community photographers and photographic artists!

The Adelaide Law School invites you to enter their
Images of Justice Photographic Competition 2018.

Closing date 30th April.

First prize is $1,200 in each of the three categories: student, community and professional photographers, with more prizes to follow.

During this week, Playgroup SA aims to highlight the many ways that Playgroup brings communities together by supporting parents and caregivers of young children in their role as their child's first educator by learning through play.

 

Playgroups have been operating for over 40 years in SA, with over 320 sessions per week and 5000 parents, carers, and children attending each week.
