During this week, Playgroup SA aims to highlight the many ways that Playgroup brings communities together by supporting parents and caregivers of young children in their role as their child's first educator by learning through play.

 

Playgroups have been operating for over 40 years in SA, with over 320 sessions per week and 5000 parents, carers, and children attending each week.

Horticultural Therapy SA - Garden Tour 17 Feb 2018

Horticultural Therapy South Australia is hosting their first garden tour for 2018 at Henley Community Garden on Saturday February 17th at 10am.

The group promotes the use of garden environments as a therapeutic tool for health and wellbeing with discussion groups and seminars on garden design.

Join them as Dean Gaston, Anne Harrington and Henley Community Garden leaders share their programs and stories of this successful garden. Be warmed by the great tales of visitors and how this garden has been making a huge difference in their lives.

Vietnamese New Year Festival 10 - 11 Feb 2018

The Vietnamese Community in Australia South Australian Chapter Inc.

 

is holding a Vietnamese New Year Festival on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th February in Regency Park Reserve, Days Road, Ferryden Park. The Tet Festival will run over two family fun days with activities for everyone.

 

The organisation began in 1978 and offers a range of social welfare services for Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese people, catering for increasingly diverse new arrival communities.
