International Workers' Memorial Day 2018

SAFEWORK SA: Remembering those who lost their lives at work

Every 28 April we recognise International Workers’ Memorial Day, remembering those who have lost their lives at work. Since 2006, SafeWork SA has supported a ceremony that not only remembers these people, but supports change to improve work health and safety.

 

This service is an opportunity for families, friends and colleagues to share their experiences and remember their loved ones who never came home from work.

The Festival of Flowers is a two-day event providing plant displays and demonstrations, sales and supplies, the major show is run by the Festival of Flowers organising committee in conjunction with horticultural clubs across South Australia.

 

Humanist Society of SA Convention

Equality is for Everyone!
Join SA Humanists together with LGBTI+ advocate Rodney Croome for a half day convention on Saturday 14th April from 1pm-5pm at Flinders University, 182 Victoria Square, Adelaide.

 

The Humanist Society of South Australia is co-hosting the Australian Humanist Convention in Adelaide on the 14th April. The event has been so popular that dinner is sold out but there are still tickets available for the afternoon session.

 

Photographic Competition 2018

Images of Justice Photographic Competition 2018.
