My Volunteer Experience - Alice Jingyi Zeng

Welcome Jingyi!
(Alice) Jingyi Zeng joined our Data Analytics Team as a volunteer, whilst she studies her Masters at Adelaide University, beginning with the team this year on the 26 July 2023.

She attends for ~4 hours a week onsite at the Connecting Up Office joining several of her other classmates from similar disciplines who are also volunteering in the SAcommunity program.

My Volunteer Experience - Pujan Maharjan

Welcome Pujan!
Pujan Maharjan joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as a volunteer. He started with the team on the 26 July 2023 and attends for ~4 hours a week onsite at the Connecting Up Office.

We are very happy to announce that Pujan will be working as a Developer .NET/SQL in the ICT Services division at TAFE SA from January 2025, Congratulations Pujan!

'I am very very happy...In my first week I have had a task in configuring Google Analytics, so the experience of Google Analytics at SAcommunity was helpful... Thank you so much'  

My Volunteer Experience - Frank Xiufeng Shi

Frank Xiufeng Shi joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as a volunteer, whilst he undertakes his Masters in Data Science at Adelaide University, starting with the team on the 1 August 2023.
 
He attends for ~4 hours a week onsite at the Connecting Up Office around his classes and his current remote work as an AI analyst.

My Volunteer Experience - Neil Anubhav Dattagupta

Neil Anubhav Dattagupta joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as a volunteer, whilst he undertakes his Masters of Data Science at Adelaide University, starting with the team on the 2 August 2023. 

He attends intermittently onsite at the Connecting Up Office around his classes, and has attended demonstrations and other volunteer events available, as well as his mentor meeting, whilst working on a data automation tasks.

Data Analytics Lead Stathis Avramis officially retired from 2 days a week, taking leave for a couple of months over August and September.

My Volunteer Experience - Michael Pak Hei Chan

Welcome Michael!
Michael Pak Hei Chan joined our SAcommunity Customer Service Team as a volunteer, to gain more experience in an office environment, starting with the team on the 26 July 2023.

Michael contacted us to let us know he was hired by one of the world's largest air service providers Dnata and is now working as a passenger service agent for a commercial airline Singapore Airlines. We were glad to hear he is now fulfilling his previous studies in aviation - well done Michael!

Adelaide University Internships - Grace Hong Hong

Welcome Grace!
Grace Hong Hong joined our SAcommunity Data Analytics Team as an intern as part of her Adelaide University studies, starting with the team on the 26 July 2023 - 30 October 2023 at the Connecting Up office for one and a half days ~ 11.5 hours a week for ~ 14 weeks, completing a total of 150 hours. Grace has also elected to return as a volunteer after her exams and we will be glad to have her return.

UniSA Internships Experience - Nada Soldo

Welcome Nada!
Nada Soldo joined the Media and Communication Team for her internship course, a part of her Bachelor of Communication and Media at The University of South Australia. Starting on the 28th of March 2023 and finishing on the 6th of June 2023.

Nada will complete 80 onsite hours for her internship in the SAcommunity service at the Connecting Up office a division of Infoxchange, completing between 5 and 12 hours per week. Nada’s SAcommunity portfolio of her published articles can be found >> here.
